I asked the IT guy at work if they were trashing some computers this summer. Managed to salvage two Intel Prodesk, so now I’m installing @Start9 with Bitcoin Core.
As tradition, we start the summer holiday with canoe, camping, fishing and bonfire. Caught our first fish for the season too, good start. This year the kids will have the tent for themselves, and I’ll spend the night in my hammock.
This piece of art made of junk, suddenly turned up in my hometown: «The invisible enemy should not exist» by Michael Rakowitz.
The sculpture is a reconstruction of a guardian figure from an ancient Assyrian temple. The temple has been subject to looting and destruction since the 1850s, when British archaeologists first began removing artworks from the palace to send to the West. Further waves of colonial plunder occurred before ISIS destroyed the remaining structures in 2015.

I’ve got a couple new releases out from Sæverud Sound. Recommend listening in Atmos via @TIDAL or Apple, but decent in stereo too.
