It's interesting once a complec system starts iterating, it tends to solve some problems but create new ones with each iteration. This is where the self regulate accept and apply feedback principle comes in as well as creativity use and respond to change. It's hard to see other paths if there is tunnel vision going on. Another thing I've noticed is that forward progress is not linear with complex systems, there is volatility, sometimes things may seem like failure but really is just a lull where metamorphosis is taking place.

Nostr is approaching its next phase of succession, kind 1 clients were a prerequisite to what's next. Without them, Nostr wouldn't have ever gotten established. Don't let the volatility shake you out, pay attention, observe and be patient as the next step for Nostr materializes. Participation might feel empty at the moment, here's a clue, maybe the emptyness is from participating in the wrong place.
