Redbud haze is showing excellent cold climate tolerance. Volunteers are popping up in the garden, handling freezing nighttime temperatures. I left several colas unharvested to test mold resistance and they spent all winter dropping seeds. Many of the leftover buds are still loaded with viable seed.
