I’ve read multiple takes on Anthony Bourdain, but I can say I met the man. (I did not say I knew him. I said I sat at the next table as he filmed his show.)
Nothing was rehearsed. He showed up and greeted his dinner guests as the cameras were rolling. And he was prepared to talk local neighborhood history, not just food.
