Most people aren’t worth your time and energy. You can helplessly try and force the opposite to be true, or stop resisting and allow all unnecessary relationships to wash away naturally. Loss is painful, that pain causes a lot of people to hold onto bad relationships as some kind of unconscious deferral of pain. The great irony is this deferral enhances the suffering and pain, by putting you around undeserving people.
