#GM Yesterday, we listened to Verdi's "Messa da Requiem” at the Dom, the most impressive cathedral in #Berlin, which is styled in Neo-Renaissance and Baroque architecture. It is an unusual piece of classical music, notable for its many dissonances and vibrant musical language, allowing one to feel a dialogue concerning despair, sincerity, and redemption. The pursuit of the divine through music reached a state of perfection. Although I'm not a Christian, I experienced something epiphanic.

Some men : "Trans is bad; we want real women back." Also some men : "Women's rights? Are you a feminist?" Some men: "Politics are bad, politicians are liars." Some men also : "Trump, we believe in you, savior." The fact that many here cannot even define socialism, communism, fascism, and the political systems they live in represents a significant educational gap that makes propaganda very easy. To be honest, I was shocked while reading sone comments here. There’s a lot to work on. It seems, we are all trapped in a trauma swamp. This is where easy solutions to complex problems come in. We all know that these problems cannot be solved in just two days…especially not a war. But politics, social criticism, religious fanatism, economic festering, and resentment towards being different are currently strongly intertwined. And this shows that some people want strong leadership, while others prefer to opt out. If Bitcoin and Nostr remain opt-out concepts for people like me, time will tell. It's good that the cards are now on the table. We all now HAVE to work on our resentments if we want to survive as a society. We have to concentrate on our shared values while simultaneously setting clear boundaries. Well then. Let’s go ? On a side note, this election has erased any doubts I had about what we're building with ARTstr. We’re right on track at the perfect moment. I’ve come to realize that most people on Nostr might not be my ideal audience, but I did hope Nostr would be a place where I could truly be myself. Let’s see how that goes.
