bitcoin is going to $1 billion per coin, but people will forget what that meant in dollars in simple terms, $1B is you having some money it’s not a lot, many just don’t have anything
so much of being ready for the future is simply deepening your conviction in BTC life’s too simple more often than it needs some new innovation. there’s a backlog of futuristic stuff yet to be adopted because power games are seen as more valuable while nerds are trying to outsmart what’s next, legacy tech is winning with half the IQ
coding is a lot like being in a relationship. your heart needs to stay in it. projects, employers, clients will tell you what to do, but one day you’ll stop being able to if you are not doing it for yourself first. i wish it was as simple as robotically doing the work, but there’s a lot of trust in your own mind you have to maintain over time else everything will break down, and you’ll be sent soul searching just to get back to coding after
chatgpt made it effortless to get off zero regarding any question under-appreciated development search was a skill, now you truly just ask things
no therapist will tell you to go all into bitcoin. society is more sick than you the best you’ll hear is a “you have to” because everyone has to do something in fiat land but few question why you don’t find meaning by doing “you have tos” you find it by working for and in a system that’s shaping the future
i feel strongly about not getting paid in fiat anymore and honestly it’s expensive hard to believe that this is intelligent
I know people that are natural savers, but ironically they don’t see Bitcoin of value. It takes spending to learn about the best way to save ☯️ Money must flow. View quoted note →
it feels like it makes sense eventually. but there’s just no way to get it before hand. image
“In those positions, Rust expertise is, at most, a "nice to have". My point is that you'll never be hired for knowing Rust well but for knowing well the domain.” So true, I’ve experienced the same. You get a job as a “rust dev” but they just wanted you for your domain knowledge and you end up writing JavaScript 🫡 View quoted note →
wish bitcoin was enough to make me code more would be an infinite money glitch
