There is nothing material to really want anymore. At least not that bad. - A bigger house? Sure, would be fun, but it is not going to improve my life. - A super car? I don't even know why that would be desirable, but I used to dream to have one at a younger age. - A really cool holiday? Maybe, but I have been to many places, I don't expect to find something seriously new. Just bunch of NPCs chasing money or pleasure. - New clothes? I don't feel the need to impress the NPCs anymore. I don't feel the need to look respectable. If I go out of the house the NPCs are there, well they look at me as an NPC, maybe I am. Because I am not doing much. Actually maybe an airplane or helicopter would be cool, then I can fly around a bit. But what I would want most of all, is to be able to really talk to people again, about hard subjects.

One of the best books I ever read was Taleb's Anti Fragile, also Black Swan of course, and Fooled by Randomness. The message was so good, so natural, expose yourself to many small shocks constantly to build robustness, in anticipation of great shocks. Become Anti Fragile. When Taleb became crazy at the beginning of the pandemic, asking everyone to wear gas masks. That was such an Anti Fragile line of arguing, he changed dramatically. He used to be rude, funny, mocking weakness. All of a sudden he turned so weak himself. Incredibly weak. I do wonder what happened to him. Why was he compromised? For a while he was talking like a hero revolutionary, it was great while it lasted.

Just looked at search trends, Nostr Vs Bluesky. Bluesky has much bigger reach. Good! Nostr is a niche place which you will only find when you are ready for it.

What is the point of writing (or saying) stuff online? For years now I have realized that things you have to say doesn't live longer, generally, than the time you sit and write them. Even as I write these words, it holds true. There are influencers, who have many followers, but they are whores to their audience, always. Needing to write or produce huge amounts of content daily to build and maintain their stardom. Whores. To my knowledge there are very few exceptions, if any, people who write something new that people can't do without. I know of only one such person who's opinions and knowledge is unique and indispensable to me. Generally all of what we have to say are repetitions of someone else's point already made. If you don't want to be a whore, you will not have an audience. If you don't want to be a whore online? There is little point in writing anything, just read. Am I wrong? What about saying things to maintain social connections? You are a whore online still. What about saying things to keep a record for yourself or reason for yourself? No reason to do it online. I should not have written these words, it makes no sense to write them, but I wrote them nonetheless. Because I wanted to, but I don't know why I wrote them? I could have just thought them, maybe I just wanted to be irrational, maybe that is enough.

Curious how discussion of the pandemic is completely absent here. Maybe the wrong people sure, but people still get ill. This year I have learnt about evolutionary biology. I think the human species sort of forgot about it, too busy getting rich. But then comes along a likely engineered virus Covid-19. Which mankind, through massive vaccinations, enable immune escape of the virus by means of mutations. The mutations are errors in the transcription process, sometimes they are favorable. What sort of mutation (/variants) are selected? The ones that survive natural selection of course. The virus is going through stepwise mutations to survive right now. A virus survives by multiplying inside the host cell and destroying the host cell in the process, infecting new cells. Only the immune system, which is now being circumvented, can stop this exponential process. Where is this stepwise evolutionary process going then, is the million dollar question.
