Noise.app has officially shut down. Yeah, I know I’m a bit late to the party, it actually closed on July 1st, lol.
For those who didn't know about it, Noise was a social platform for BCH, very similar to BCHNostr. You could create posts, tip creators, and message other users. At its peak, it was a booming community full of active discussions. However, once the big tippers left, the user base slowly started to leave as well. The developers also seemed to abandon the site, there were no new updates or changes for a long time. It just existed... like a relic of the past. 😥
Every now and then, I’d still visit Noise to post and check up on the few regulars who still lingered there. I always loved looking through the old posts. But this morning, just as I was about to write a post, a notification popped up instead of the familiar view you see when you open the site. It is now permanently closed.
Oh well... it is what it is.
Who among here were from Noise as well? Or at least familiar with it?
