I painted this pumpkin. It depicts an early morning sunrise, with a purple ostrich climbing a hill and burning the instagram logo with its gaze. I believe in Nostr. We are still in the early days, and it is an uphill battle. But we are shattering the shackles of centralized, predatory big tech social media. We've created a safe haven where you can't be deplatformed and silenced. If a client doesn't align with your values, you can switch. If a relay rejects your data, you can find another or host your own. In time I believe the masses will join us, because everyone deserves freedom of choice. Keep posting and building. #nostr #painting image

It's unlike most android apps because it's written in Rust (instead of Java/Kotlin) and we use an unconventional UI library (egui) with immediate mode rendering! immediate mode can actually be lighter for lower performance devices because it avoids keeping and mutating a big retained widget tree in memory. instead, it just redraws what’s needed every frame, straight from program state View quoted note β†’
