correct me if I am wrong, but won't #bitoin eventually need to be more divisible than 100,000,000 sats if it is to be used for every day transactions with lightning? Or would fees just go to zero?

So I work with supply chain ERP systems for processing orders and payments. I always think about how easy it would be for payments if customers sent a #bitcoin QR invoice. The invoice approver would then release funds from a corporate #bitcoin wallet. No third party payment systems required and settlement would be at the speed of block confirmation rather than ACH.

I really think Square enabling lightning payments at all their PoS terminals is going to be the snowball that starts an avalanche in merchant adoption. If the lightning network can handle the load of every day purchases en masse, it really furthers the death knell for alt chains as a means of payments. Most people don't need a DEX, thousands of shitcoin tokens, and vaporware dApps. They just need a money that preserves its value over time and can be used to purchase goods/services when needed. #bitcoin achieves this.
