I've installed nfty so uptime kuma can alert me in case something fails. As I have it running anyways now, it shouldn't really hurt if I also use it for Amethyst, right?
moved from homebrew to nix, with home-manager handling my dotfiles. keeping my mac and linux notebooks in sync just got a lot easier.
Does anyone know an app like syncthing, but with multiple user support. Even better with E2E encryption. I don't want to set up a nextcloud instance as I only need file sync.
The battery of the pixel 6a went from good to really bad. Far faster than on the 4a or an aged iPhone.
This week my kids will set up a nerdminer. When I told them such thing exists, it was clear they wanted one.
Can anyone tell me why mutinitywallet wants to open a new channel to receive a 3500sats payments when my main channel still has over 80k sats inbound capacity available?
I've uninstalled Damus after it kept loosing my relays regularly. As I'm leaving the walled garden anyway, there was no compelling reason to put any more time into figuring out what was happening. I really liked it tho. Maybe we'll meet on Android someday, but until then, Amethyst looks like my mobile client for now.
Got a bluesky invite. Can't even remember when I requested it. Whatever, let's see how they react to yet another purpelpiller.
The feeling when your kids graduate from iOS to a degoogled android.
My kids started using linux notebooks nearly a year ago. For a time in parallel to their macBooks. Meanwhile, the macs are gone. One is even using sway as wm and doesn't want to go back even tho, many things would be easier for him, but he chose to learn and use the command line.
I've setup up a web shop. Getting the payment rails up was a complete nightmare. I'll be setting up BTC payments for her to demo how easy this could actually be.
Kids are making progress with python. Maybe I should blog about it.
