No, these are not pictures from last winter. This was June 16th after a devastating hailstorm at home. 70mph winds, deluges of rain, and hail. When it was done, there was 6-8" of hail on the ground.

Never knew that polymer coated slow release fertilizers were a thing. Heralded as a way to increase fertilizer efficiency by slowing the release of the fertilizer, are now thought to increase the amount of micro plastics in our soil and food supply. Haven't had a chance to read the full paper, but here it is.

Been kind of a hard winter this year. Ever since Christmas it has been below zero and snow. Burning more wood than usual, starting to cut into next year's supply, but that will be remedied this year.

Good morning. It was a snowy day yesterday. Ended up getting almost a foot of snow with some wind. Got up to sunny skies, but cold. Bone cold. And also found out that when my wife drove my truck to pick up the kiddo, someone ran into the back end while she was inside the building. People suck.
