It's useful to look at existence as an ocean. If you give one drop of water, the entire ocean raises. If you take one drop of water, the entire ocean decreases. So if you pay some extra money to your hairdresser, then he may treat the next customer better and this next customer will feel lighter since most people use their hairdressers as therapists and upon arriving home this next customer will treat their children better and so on. If everyone on the planet right now became criminals and started stealing each other, the world would collapse within seconds. But if everyone became more positive and started giving more (truth, love, effort, money, attention, understanding, wisdom, advice, time, etc), then we would have a paradise on Earth. This proofs that this universe works upon the principle of giving. It's not easy to be always positive, especially when we are angry, but in those cases we must have the strength to stop this cycle of hate on ourselves so we don't transmit it to the next person. The more you give, the more the ocean raises (and that includes you, your life gets better).

People don't judge a fish negatively just because it can't climb a mountain (maybe some do). It doesn't makes sense to judge something negatively just because it doesn't meet the standard of the judger. The fish's purpose is to swim, not to climb mountains. Likewise, it doesn't makes sense to judge a human as an irrelevant being just because it lives in a water ball whirling around a hot ball throughout the big empty space for some billions of years until everything explodes. Man's greatness is not measured by how long he lives or by how big he is physically. Man's greatness is determined by how close he is to his creator (god).

I say we change the calendar and make 2008 the new year 0. So I can say: "I was born 4 B.B" and others can say: "I was born 20 A.B" and so on B.B = Before Bitcoin A.B = After Bitcoin

After YEARS of struggle (literally), I finally managed to find the movie I used to watch when I was a child. It's a 45 minute french movie. The name is The Happy Elf, from 2005. It's easily available in paid streaming, but those streamings must be american. So, this movie is available in American Apple TV, but not in Brazilian Apple TV. There's no torrent for it. I managed to download in HD but it has French audio and I can't find English or Portuguese subtitles. Helpppp

But the email’s 12-word subject line captures Jobs’s main point: “You can’t plan to meet the people who will change your life.” “You can’t plan to meet the people who will change your life. It just happens. Maybe it’s random, maybe it’s fate. Either way, you can’t plan for it,” he declares. “But you want to recognize it when it happens, and have the courage and clarity of mind to grab onto it.” https://www.inc.com/jessica-stillman/the-story-of-how-steve-jobs-met-his-wife-will-change-how-you-think-about-success/91203041 View quoted note →

“I was in the parking lot, and I started to drive out, and I thought to myself: ‘If this was the last day of my life, would I rather go to that meeting or have dinner with this woman?’ I pulled over and went back. And that’s been the best decision I ever made.”

Open your eyes, The Boys are coming! For they are 4 in number; And when they walk, the floor becomes soft; The water follows its cycle Rain generates—mist radiates Where time doesn't exist, everything becomes so clear Brazil is the place; When the 4 stars are aligned, the stars sing; The key is found in São Paulo São Paulo shall be the place

Question: Is it worth getting a computer science degree today? Why or why not? The Ultimate Answer: Absolutely not. It's better to have a goal-oriented (or project-oriented) mindset and learn along the way! And contribute to Open Source. Every great opportunity I've had in life was through Open Source. Too long; didn't read: if you want to do something just start doing it immediately, right now cc @Alex Gleason image
