"The secret of all success lies in building ourselves. Never mind the product, never mind the skills." - Walter Russell (from The Message of The Divine Iliad)
My aunt is a dish washer.
She asked me about Bitcoin and I was very surprised since she's not from any "tech" bubble, I think she never gave one prompt to Chat GPT for example.
To the best of my ability I tried to explain to her how Bitcoin works and I think she understood very well; I'm not good at expressing myself but her desire to learn was so strong that she got it.
After my brief explanation, I helped her install an Electrum mobile wallet (she doesn't have any computers).
Electrum has some translations missing by the way.
This all happened in the previous weekend, in the next weekend I'll help her create an account in an exchange so she can buy her first satoshis.
The funny part is that my parents were listening while I explained to her and now they're all hyped up, even though they never heard of Bitcoin before, so perhaps next weekend more 3 people will get in touch with Bitcoin.
Of course, the interest for Bitcoin comes from wanting to make profit in fiat, and I think it's okay.
All zaps of this post (if any), will be sent to my aunt or divided with her and my parents if they decide to try it out as well.
if you had to pick one of these biomes to live for the rest of your life, which one would it be?

All my years learning nvim were futile? 😭

The greatest cryptography is analogy.
If you have a god-like computer, you can "break" all cryptography, since it's all objective.
Analogies are subjective and you can't "break" them if you don't have the key.
That's why ancient/old analogies survived until today.
The wise ones used to communicate in analogies so they wouldn't get burned alive by the church some hundred years ago or be murdered by the local establishment thousands of years ago.
In 7 days we'll be in month 7.
It feels like yesterday when it was January 1st.
Imagine how many beautiful colors we haven't seen!

Signal does not have a "send" button.
If your "enter" key is not working and you only have a mouse, good luck to you.

Welcome to Vitruvius Constructions!
https://vitruviusconstructions.com/
What is it? My new work in progress website for creating and exploring 3D architectural constructions in NOSTR.
What does it do? It allows for you to design 3D architectural constructions, share your constructions and browse those made by others.
What is planned for future updates? Enhancing the 3D simulator and adding more interactivity, such as making comments and emoji react to other people's constructions.
What are you doing now? Perfecting the ability to combine shapes using unions.
Why this was created? For 2 reasons. First, to give you something relaxing to do while listening to a podcast or music, something that lets your mind wander as you build. And second, to explore how far I can push the limits of vibe coding.
Is this all vibe coded? Yes.
Where can I report issues? By mentioning me in nostr or by going to

Today is my birthday, now I'm 21.
When I left the shoe factory to work in nostr with @Alex Gleason I was 19.
What lies ahead is unknown, the future is full of potential.

I listen to a lot of english content and I even speak with americans and can understand everything that they say, but when I watch an american movie I simply can't understand what they are talking about, so I usually need to download a subtitles file.
You will own nothing and be happy.
It feels like people don't want to move to United States because it is the best country, they want to go there because their country sucks more.
If you ask why they are going to United States, they will say things like "better security", "things are cheaper", "more opportunities", "less regulations", "freedom of speech", etc...
All of these things are simple, yet, 90% of countries don't have that, even though we as humanity have the best technologies at our hands.
Of course, it never was a technology problem.
The problem seem to be a spiritual one. The "system" is not the problem, it's the effect. The cause is the lack of awareness of most people. Awareness in all senses.
What I personally do in such a situation is to get better, know myself more, help people who want help and hope someday humanity will have a truly golden age. Golden in spirit and in matter.
eu sou uma fada madrinha
**falei com uma estrela** (por mim)
Falei com uma estrela
Ela tão longe, me assiste
Sem interferir, ela me ajuda
A sua existência já é suficiente
Problemas cotidianos são nada perto dos problemas de uma estrela
Ela me disse que vai ficar tudo bem
O brilho é mais forte na escuridão
Com esse brilho, eu não irei perder a direção
Todo o meu esforço não é nada para você
Mas o que vale é a intenção, ou estou errado?
O frio da noite me abraça
E o calor do dia me sufoca
Eu mudei e o lugar continua o mesmo
Está na hora de voar mais alto
Voar com o meu amor
Voar com a minha estrela
Why work in building censorship resistant social media? Why? Why?
That's because all humans have a soul, and we express our soul through multiple means, such as art, love, understanding, speaking, etc...
Of all the means we use to express ourselves, the ability to speak is one of the most important ones. It's so primitive and yet so powerful.
Since no one is perfect, in the process of expressing ourselves we end up saying some "problematic" things, such as gossip or judging people without really knowing them.
But perhaps this is precisely one of the reasons why it's good to be alive. The capacity to say irresponsible shit allows us to not live in constant pressure.
People who have power and keep deciding who gets to talk and who doesn't, are pure evil and childish.
If I have the capacity and means to fight against them, so be it.
