I make music // sing & write Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/@patrick_preis "The secret of all success lies in building ourselves. Never mind the product, never mind the skills." - Walter Russell (from The Message of The Divine Iliad)
Today is my birthday, now I'm 21. When I left the shoe factory to work in nostr with @Alex Gleason I was 19. What lies ahead is unknown, the future is full of potential.
I listen to a lot of english content and I even speak with americans and can understand everything that they say, but when I watch an american movie I simply can't understand what they are talking about, so I usually need to download a subtitles file.
It feels like people don't want to move to United States because it is the best country, they want to go there because their country sucks more. If you ask why they are going to United States, they will say things like "better security", "things are cheaper", "more opportunities", "less regulations", "freedom of speech", etc... All of these things are simple, yet, 90% of countries don't have that, even though we as humanity have the best technologies at our hands. Of course, it never was a technology problem. The problem seem to be a spiritual one. The "system" is not the problem, it's the effect. The cause is the lack of awareness of most people. Awareness in all senses. What I personally do in such a situation is to get better, know myself more, help people who want help and hope someday humanity will have a truly golden age. Golden in spirit and in matter.
Why work in building censorship resistant social media? Why? Why? That's because all humans have a soul, and we express our soul through multiple means, such as art, love, understanding, speaking, etc... Of all the means we use to express ourselves, the ability to speak is one of the most important ones. It's so primitive and yet so powerful. Since no one is perfect, in the process of expressing ourselves we end up saying some "problematic" things, such as gossip or judging people without really knowing them. But perhaps this is precisely one of the reasons why it's good to be alive. The capacity to say irresponsible shit allows us to not live in constant pressure. People who have power and keep deciding who gets to talk and who doesn't, are pure evil and childish. If I have the capacity and means to fight against them, so be it.
Elon gave the world freedom of speech, in a centralized platform Elon gave electric cars, which uses coal and other energies he considers evil anyways to power the batteries Elon thinks AI has the potential to be evil, so he will create his good AI Elon thinks Mars will be a backup if the population of Earth is destroyed by wars, yet what guarantees these same wars won't be replicated in Mars? Mars is just another physical location, it doesn't change human nature. Elon didn't like Trump some years ago, now he follows his 24/7. Life.
Does anyone know songs that have rain and|or thunderstorms in the background? Not lofi stuff, an actual song, with someone singing.

Why people don't make good movies like the old times? Movies nowadays are crap
Which nostr clients implement custom feeds/custom algorithms? #asknostr
In third world countries it's normal for people to play music in the highest volume possible, it's so high you can even hear it 5 houses away.
