The Japanese government is introducing laws that will require Apple to allow users nationwide to download apps outside their official app stores.

People are being too harsh for no reason @Vitor Pamplona. Amethyst is great and I will keep using it. If the current antispam algorithm really became a door for censorship, I'm sure Vitor will be open-minded to new solutions. But if he doesn't his code is open-source anyway. There is a huge burden to keep a social network app out there carrying your real name as a maintainer. He is caution is legitimate.
