The Guru's Grace (spiritual teacher) is both external and internal. From the outside, he pushes the mind inwards, and from the inside he pulls the mind towards the Self and helps it keep quiet. That is the grace. There is no difference between God, guru and Self. A guru's help is necessary and useful to start you on the inquiry, but you yourself must pursue it.

I THINK GOD IS ON EARTH, INSIDE EVERY LIVING BEING. WHAT WE CALL "THE DIVINE" IS NONE OTHER THAN THE ENERGY OF AWAKENING, OF PEACE, OF UNDERSTANDING, AND OF LOVE, WHICH IS TO BE FOUND NOT ONLY IN EVERY HUMAN BEING, BUT IN EVERY SPECIES ON EArTH. #THICHNHATHANH image

Vâda and Siddhânta - these are the two sorts of scriptural knowledge - Vada (the argumentative) and Siddhanta (the decisive). When a man is entirely ignorant he takes up the first of these, the argumentative fighting, and reasoning pro and con; and when he has finished that he takes up the Siddhanta, the decisive, arriving at a conclusion. Simply arriving at this conclusion will not do. It must be intensified. Books are infinite in number, and time is short; therefore the secret of knowledge is to take what is essential. Take that and try to live up to it. #SwamiVivekananda image

Feel the love of God; then in each person you will see the face of the Father, the light of love that is in everyone. You will discover a magical and living relationship uniting trees, skies, stars, all people and all things, and you will feel oneness with everything. This is the code of divine love. #paramahansayogananda

Harmony manifests itself as natural goodness. A human being who cannot relate to others is someone who cannot relate to himself; who is always at war within, uncomfortable with nature itself. How could a person like this be nice to others? First it is necessary that you feel comfortable with yourself; then you will find harmony in your interaction with everything and everyone. Those who find faults in others usually have no high esteem of themselves. These people don't know their own harmonious center. They get tired of everything; sometimes even life itself. No wonder they only see disharmony wherever they are. This is why even some millionaires commit suicide, despite all their material power and possessions. There is no happiness in wealth or in any other thing unless there's peace of mind. Those who do not find peace in their own heart will find it nowhere else. #paramahansayogananda image

Lord Datattreya said When the yogi attains that Supreme Atman, he transcends the injunctions and probibitions of the scriptures. There is no idea of purity or impurity, nor can any evil thought arise in the undifferentiated mind of the yogi. Anything forbidden to others is permissible to him because he is beyond all rules. #SwamiChetanananda image

AJnani and a Bhakta were once passing through a forest. On the way they saw a tiger. The Jnani said: "There is no reason why we should flee; the Almighty God will certainly protect us". The Bhakta said: "No, brother, no, let us run away. Why should we trouble the Lord, when we can accomplish a thing by our own exertion? #SriRamakrishnaParamhansa image

Those who feel the love for God, as you mature inwardly, you are not praying for things any more. You are just in praise of the Absolute. You see its beauty everywhere. You see its love, its care. You begin to feel deep appreciation. "What is this that creates all this with such loving care and tenderness?! #Mooji image
