Today we had what I guess is "rolling thunder". It wasn't raining yet and it was relatively bright but I heard a thunder sustained for several minutes on end. The lack of variance felt eerie.

I read Brave New World and John Lennon's Imagine came to mind. Looking at the lyrics I will feel very weird thinking about singing that song ever again. Great book. Great song. But damn is this creepy when you assume Mustafa Mond and Lennon wanted the same thing. View quoted note →
