Matrix.org has been down for several hours. This should have no effect on me since it's dEcEnTrAlIzEd, but Element mobile and desktop absolutely do not work at all, in spite of the fact that the servers I connect to are hosted by their communities. Why does this seem like a direct downgrade from IRC?

Finally, a launcher that pulls the keyboard up immediately, rather than forcing you to shift your hand up to touch the search bar, then shifting back down so you can type. Android phones are friggin massive, and each time I have to adjust my grip, it's another chance to drop the phone. Apple has had this search flow figured out since the 4th or 5th iPhone, so it's a little wild to me that this isn't the default behavior on AOSP. The gaming space is going through another round of censorship, this time by payment processors. And the stores will do just about anything *except* take bitcoin for payment. They'd much rather take content off their stores and beg their banking overlords. Infuriating.
