In the middle of editing a react/review/commentary #video I made, celebrating one of the “Mia Goth Trilogy” of films and I get why people have #editors now. What a time sink it is if you want to put even a smidge more than the bare minimum amount of effort into making a halfway decent video.

Tried Status AI a few days ago. It’s basically this, but with artificial engagement, so exactly what they creators said it was. If you’re ether openly or a closeted people person, you might like it, but for me it was just another PITA online thing to have to keep up with.
OK, can we stop with the whole “living in interesting times” thing now? I’d like to live in boring times where ship crews, dock workers, truck drivers, and people working at the stores have something to do. Apparently, port in Houston, TX is experiencing the same thing. 
Doesn’t matter what form the tool comes in.

Interesting article on #bluesky and #censorship. Pity, really, I had higher hopes for this place, but it is still a business. The only network/protocol that I could recommend that is actually gov/corpo censorship-proof, for good and bad, is #nostr.

Just heard about this app/site today. Status AI is a social media app, but every interaction you get, good ahd bad, is from digital sentients (ai chatbots) instead of analog secretors (us/humans). What a boon for hikikimori all around the world! I’m definitely curious.
