Nostr's Chief Android Officer - Amethyst/Brainstorm
Amethyst already uses your Brainstorm account (NIP 85) to show scores in our UI. Soon we will be able to activate filtering Notificationsand DMs by your larger web of trust (follows of follows, 12 hops deep, about 300,000 pubkeys for my user).

In January, I thought we would end the year with ~250 event kinds, but Amethyst already supports 410 event kinds and we still have 3 months to go. This is crazy.
Amethyst and Divine are now head to head ๐คฏ

Go test our Nostr search. Log in to get your own Web of Trust.

Brainstorm
Brainstorm โ Your Network. Your Rules.
Build trust scores from your own connections โ not an algorithm. The decentralized Web of Trust layer for Nostr.
It's ironic how AIs are as bad as humans in estimating story points. ๐
Now that's virtually free to make anything up, web of trust is the only solution to the 3S problem: spams, scams and slops.

For those without a desktop:

Modern interface design is made for Instagram, not to be actually used.
I think we are in the middle of a great reset in the idea of internet friends.
Why would you write a LinkedIn post if only AI is reading it? Why would post a TikTok, but AI is taking your idea and making it more appealing and steal all your credit? Why would you spread your knowledge nobody but AI will read it? Why would you write a book, if nobody but AI reads it?
I don't know most of you personally. I only know you are human because our connection predates AI.
New users, though, don't have that certainty. For them anyone can be an AI. And that drives them away.
We need to recalibrate the point of having internet friends.
And, with so much junk throw at us for the past 20 years, I don't know what the point is anymore. ๐ค
