Nostr keys are not identities. They are personas. Identity is your internal, relatively constant self, whereas a persona is external, fluid, and situational (e.g., work vs. home). A persona is a conscious "mask" over your identity. Identity provides a sense of self-continuity. A persona is for adapting to environmental demands. It is constructed to navigate specific social situations.
