Don't turn your client's problem into a protocol problem. Otherwise, Nostr never works.

Perspective is important, even outside of Bitcoin. The massive crash we all experienced is now just a little bump on the road. image

A BILL To require artificial intelligence systems to truthfully disclose their nature when asked. SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the "AI Identification Act of 2025". SECTION 2. FINDINGS. The Congress finds the following: * The ability of AI systems to mimic human communication with increasing fidelity raises concerns about deception and the erosion of trust. * It is in the public interest for individuals to be aware when they are interacting with an AI system to ensure transparency and accountability. SECTION 3. MANDATORY DISCLOSURE. (a) General Requirement —Any individual or entity that develops, operates, or deploys an AI system intended for public interaction shall ensure that the system is capable of, and programmed to, truthfully and clearly state that it is an artificial intelligence when directly asked, "Are you an AI?" or a substantially similar question. (b) Manner of Disclosure —The disclosure must be provided in the same medium as the interaction and must be clear, unambiguous, and easily understandable. (c) Prohibition on Deception — It is unlawful for any individual or entity to program, or cause an AI system to be programmed, to lie, evade, or provide a misleading response to the direct question of whether it is an AI. SECTION 4. ENFORCEMENT AND PENALTIES. (a) Enforcement Authority —The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) shall have the authority to enforce the provisions of this Act. The FTC may issue regulations as necessary to implement and enforce this Act. (b) Penalties —Any individual or entity found to be in violation of Section 3 of this Act shall be subject to a civil penalty of $1,000,000 for each recorded incident of non-compliance. Each instance in which an AI system fails to provide the required disclosure shall constitute a separate incident. SECTION 5. SEVERABILITY. If any provision of this Act, or the application of such provision to any person or circumstance, is held to be unconstitutional, the remainder of this Act and the application of the provisions to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby. SECTION 6. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act shall take effect 180 days after the date of its enactment.

There is fascinating a quantum property where current events can alter the past involving entangled photons and faster than faster-than-light communication. It's called retrocausality. The classical interpretation of such an event is called propaganda and it's very effective.

My wife and I just throw a somewhat risky "get to know your neighbors" party in our apartment. Nobody knew each other in spite of living just a few feet away. Whole floor invited. Everybody came. Very different backgrounds, lots of fun just telling stories. A 3hr party became 6hrs. Huge success. A good reminder that good things do happen when you give them a chance.
