Question to the community... Does anyone know anything about ground egg shells helping with poor teeth/fighting cavities...etc? I've always had soft teeth. Lots of cavities as a teen. My teens are going through this, and even my 6 year old is has under-developed teeth, poor enamel. I vaguely remember reading something about ground egg shells being beneficial somehow, but can't remember or find what is triggering that memory. It may have been for natural toothpaste or something, just not recalling specifics. Any help would be appreciated. #grownostr #health #tsp #homesteading

GM Nostriches! Here's another quick update on the 1/2 acre homestead. I have a lot of mulch screening to get to! Thoughts and opinions welcome! I built the chicken tractor (stagecoach) a few years back thinking it would be a daily mover. But the 6 full size chickens were too big to contain n inside the stagecoach, and it was a lot more difficult to move then I thought. Then I got the Premier1 electro net and was moving them weekly, which turned into every other week. I was also getting arborist wood chips dropped and after wheelbarrowing 3 truck loads to my back yard (and developing a hernia) I had had enough, so I moved the bird to where the load was and figured I'd let them spread it and compost it. I'm kind of treating this like a victory garden. I moved them to a new section, and now I'm going to screen this section to make garden beds.
