Paid with lightning for something online and never received confirmation…the bot/employee keeps asking for TxID. I’ve given them the lightning invoice address and the preimage address and they still keep asking for TxID? What am I missing here?
I was visibly offended this morning when someone brought vegan “butter” to the mother and baby breakfast. Must remember people can see my face.

GM!

GM…beautiful morning picking kiwi berries!

Life is so freaking weird, 99.9% chance it’s simulated.
Snack time; dried apple and damson with cinnamon, hard cheese, macadamia and walnuts. 😋

Gives me goosebumps…what worries me most is that there are humans who think they can stop or control an idea whose time has come…it seems to me we must leave our cradle if we are to survive even the next 50 years.
Space is an infinite canvas and we’re just holding the brush.

It’s my turn to host our village community cafe today…Burnt Basque Cheesecake, Apfelkuchen and a Banana Bread on the menu. 😋☕️🍰

Back at it with the last of the damsons…
Damson Compote (900 g batch)
• 900 g damsons
• 100 g caster sugar
• 1 vanilla pod (split, seeds scraped, pod added too)
• 3 cinnamon sticks
• 260 ml fortified wine (I used 130 ml Vin Santo + 130 ml Tawny Port)
Method
1. Split the vanilla pod lengthways and scrape out the seeds. Add seeds and pod to a large pan with the sugar, cinnamon sticks, and fortified wine.
2. Warm gently until the sugar dissolves.
3. Add the damsons and bring to a simmer. Cook until the fruit softens and the liquid thickens into a glossy syrup (about 20–30 minutes).
4. Taste — if it’s too sweet, balance with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
5. Remove the cinnamon sticks and vanilla pod before jarring.
