Fascinated by freedom, history, humans, nature and the final frontier. 🕊️📚🫂🍀💫 Used to live in London, worked 70-hour weeks and dreamed of leaving the rat race. So I made a plan, met a man, and discovered a new way of life in the process. Grateful for it all. 🙏 Mother & Farmer’s Wife working towards self-sovereignty one choice at a time. 🇬🇧 > 🇩🇪 > 🌍 👦🏼 👧🏼 👩🏼‍🌾 👨🏻‍🌾 🏰 🐄 🐓 🦆 🍎🌲 🤝 ⚡️🧡 I chose to play a different game…

Bitcoin doesn’t give a shit about you, just like your state doesn’t give a shit about you, the difference is one has no desire to control and extort you.

This year marks the 500th anniversary of The German Peasants’ War of 1525. Inspired by Martin Luther’s 1517 Reformation, The Twelve Articles were a groundbreaking declaration written by the Swabian peasants in 1525, articulating their grievances and demands for reform. Drafted by Sebastian Lotzer and influenced by preacher Christoph Schappeler, these articles were widely disseminated, thanks to the printing press, and are considered one of the earliest expressions of human rights in Europe. Sadly100,000 of them reportedly lost their lives fighting for what they believed in; freedom, liberty and private property. My husband’s family are descendants of these heroes and it’s amazing to see how those beliefs still run deep in his veins. Fascinating part of history! image

“The beginning of love is the will to let those we love be perfectly themselves, the resolution not to twist them to fit our own image. If in loving them we do not love what they are, but only their potential likeness to ourselves, then we do not love them: we only love the reflection of ourselves we find in them.” — Thomas Merton

“You do not need to know precisely what is happening, or exactly where it is all going. What you need is to recognize the possibilities and challenges offered by the present moment, and to embrace them with courage, faith and hope.” — Thomas Merton

One man, five months and 5,000 trees later our Oak Forest is planted! Crazy to think it will reach maturity when the last Bitcoin block is mined in 2140. 🧡🙏 What’s your time preference? image

For you to exist today… The universe had to be born. Stars had to live, die, and explode. The Earth had to form just right—distance, gravity, atmosphere, magnetic field. Life had to spark from nothing. Evolution had to grind on for billions of years. Dinosaurs had to get wiped out by a space rock. Apes had to get weird so Homo sapiens could show up. And then over 12,000 generations of humans had to survive: Predators. Extinctions. Enemies. War. Famine. Disease. Childbirth. Infant mortality. Economic collapse. Depressions. Oppression. Tyranny. Technological disruption and so on… Puts a few things into perspective!

Hey Nostriches…worst head cold I’ve ever had! Not sure if it’s a combo of allergies (which I’ve never had) and lingering sinus infection but my nose and ears are blocked and stopping me from sleeping. Any useful tips for sats? #asknostr #v4v #help 🙏🫠
