The disconnection from where food actually comes from is one our weirdest blind spots in modern society. People want meat wrapped in plastic from the supermarket, devoid of context, but they don’t want to confront the reality of animal husbandry or the moral nuance that goes with it. We are about to became Wagyu farmers and most of our friends and family (who eat meat) have made comments such as; “Oh, it’s so cruel!” “Shame you have to eat them?!” “How long do they live before they’re murdered?” Modern cows ONLY exist because humans utilise their innate ability to turn plant matter into high quality human food. These magnificent animals are part of a relationship that humans have shaped over millennia. Without that relationship, they wouldn’t be born at all…they’d never see the sun, taste grass, have companionship, raise calves if they weren’t the best way to turn plant material into high quality human food. Wagyu are the Kings and Queens of this and they are treated as such. Short but sweet lives, surely better than no life at all? #farmtotable image

I still can’t believe it’s possible to exchange government currency for the hardest form of money ever to have existed. 🤯

The devaluation of motherhood, especially full-time motherhood, is one of the biggest social lies of modern times. Women are constantly told that “having it all” means sacrificing time with their children in favour of careers they may not even enjoy, all while being burdened with guilt, stress, and financial pressure. Meanwhile, raising children, the most fundamental and irreplaceable work for any society, is dismissed as unimportant or even regressive. It’s absolutely wild to me, but only after working as a nanny while studying economics and later breaking free from the matrix through my Bitcoin education, did I discover how messed up it all is. The idea that self-worth is tied to paid labour rather than to family, relationships, and community is a relatively new one but it’s clearly not working. Depression, burnout, and dissatisfaction are through the roof. Women are expected to perform like men in the workforce while still shouldering the majority of childcare and household responsibilities. And then they’re shamed if they want to opt out. If we lived in a culture that actually respected motherhood, women would be supported in choosing to raise their children full-time, not forced into the workforce to make ends meet. Families would be structured around what’s best for children, not corporate productivity. We wouldn’t need endless daycare facilities to replace the nurturing of parents. And crucially, men would be raised to see motherhood as something profoundly valuable, not just a “personal choice” that some women happen to make. The good news? More and more women are waking up to this. The system is failing them, and they know it. The question is how to push back, whether through community-building, advocating for family-friendly policies or simply refusing to play the game. I’m tired of being surrounded by women that are stressed and depressed as their babies cling to them. I want to find some of these women who are willing to build a community outside of the system?
