Bitcoin is not just consensus, Bitcoin is consensus and policy. And policy is not less important than consensus. It's more beneficial to have some stuff as dynamic instead of static consensus. That's why policy exists. Policy is not consensus, not because they are less important, because it is more advantageous for them to be dynamic and fluid across the network.

how to solve spam?
- bring back script size limit policy
- bring back old data size limit
- filter inscriptions and other parasite protocols as they get popular.
if you are anti spam and. proposing consensus change for it. fuck off
i have a feeling, we have like 1000 fake core nodes. by fake i mean ran by same person on purpose for the stats.

i believe fedora silverblue is good because it forces you to use user space.
keep the host clean.
if you must have things on the host directly, you layer them. things such as drivers, and other similar stuff needed on the host directly.
BUT otherwise appimages or flatpaks are encouraged. if both are unavailable, you can just create a distrobox and install in it. things like BoxBuddy makes it stupid easy. then once you install the thing inside distrobox you can just export the app with a single click, so it looks like any other app on your system.
i also prefer using portable home folders for appimages, and different home folders for each distrobox, so they are all "isolated", i can see the appdata and clear it easily. i dont have to guess where did it create files at and etc. all clean.
its a breeze.

think about all the money you spent for the schools, books, college, etc.
and now think that you could have instead got bitcoin with all of that money. and teach yourself about, money, and any other thing like programming computers and stuff.
imagine the productive hours you would have actually learning things, and building something. instead of trying get fiat points, scores, grades.
follow based networks are the solution, not algorithms. people should build their own small communities by following few people.
btw i think the video applies for lightning as well with hubs like ACINQ.

if you remove privacy stuff from cashu, it becomes easier have proof of funds, and it becomes easier for mints as well because it would create less storage bloat.
