a new heifer showed up on the farm, ear tag 21. the farmhand said it was purple. the farmer looked twice. he was used to orange ear tags. a good-looking heifer in his corral with a purple ear tag looked orange to him he called Dolores to see if she had lost a heifer. Dolores seemed to think she had. "let me look" she said. She had that intuition that she had lost one. intuition was valuable at these cattle prices. "is the tag a light blue?" the farmer squinted. his tags were orange and purple just looked like orange to him. ROY G BIV had a $2000 dollar differential between the spectrum at the going cattle price. The farmer's cell rang. it was Jason the county fence builder. "Jason, I've been meaning to get some fence built" "well, i can take a look. hey, you haven't seen a heifer anywhere have you" news must have gotten around the neighborhood. "that's not yours now is it" the farmer asked. "well now i can't be sure" jason backpedaled, weighing his fencing reputation with sky high cattle prices.
