some other good news wrt Strategy and STRC is the Josh Mandell fellow finally seems to be warming up again... Comparing Strategy to a diesel engine definitely is a good look for the stock. Who knew that investors don't like to invest in things they don't understand and nobody quite understood what was happening with all the "perpetual preferred" stocks. all this time, the only "Wiley Coyote" moment --to quote Cathie Wood-- was me pretending to understand what perpetual preferred stocks were. i trusted Saylor and tried to wrap my head around all the creativity while others like Mandell were smarter and bailed out entirely. if he can't understand it then nobody can. but that appears to be changing. with STRC, it's getting obvious even to the intelligent skeptics that this could be something good. image i have a newfound respect for diesel engines. in fact, if any man wants to make friends with other men, study diesel engines. then go to equipment auctions. for just 10,000 dollars a giant truck with a diesel engine and air brakes can be yours. you can put up beekeeping boxes in yard and slap "Farm Use" plates on the truck and you won't need a CDL. the joy of the engine and the air brakes will light up your face and you'll never be sad again.

the other Jordi Visser insight answered some doubts about the Mag7. Tesla, NVIDIA, Apple -- good Microsoft, Meta, Google -- bad i used to know someone who smoked weed copiously. He was invested in Tesla, Nvidia, Apple. i'm glad he's positioned well. I asked him why once and he explained something that literally sounded like Jordi's compute demand analogy ~AI agents "eat" compute the way humans eat food — they need it to run 24 hours a day, and if you have billions or trillions of them running simultaneously, the demand is just structurally infinite. The restaurant analogy: you open a place and suddenly have a line of trillions of people out the door and no way to feed them all. the most devastating insight that Jordi delivered for Google. & Meta.. AI agents don't read adverts for things like humans do. --wow.

Jordi Visser made an interesting statement: gold is up about 20% over the last six months while silver is up 60%, and that he'd take silver over gold every day for the rest of time because it's a necessity in every piece of technology, and that if you do the math on how many drones equal a tank in terms of silver content, the number is massive — effectively making it a rare earth metal. silver over gold? funny how ironic it would be if SOV goes to bitcoin, and silver beats gold due to industrial uses.

starlink is offering 40% discount for 6 months if i sign up again. 48$ a month. this came on the same day as cancelling. -40% is ALMOST matching bitcoin deflation. (126-73)/(126) = 42%

deflation chronicles I "EGGS 4 sale" grandpa sitting on his open trunk subaru. walmart parking lot row 1. last summer there were puppies for sale here. that would have been an expensive Chance card. there is deflation-proof access to Wifi here in the parking lot of Walmart closer to the building. there are none of those little police surveillance units in the parking lot. what a safe town. i log in to the free Walmart wifi. getting stuff for free always feels like it should be illegal. swashbuckly piratey i'm deep in the text of the internet. Car doors slam beside me. 4 young dudes hop out of a car. I feel a bristling sensation and a fight response. i glance up. one of the high spirited teens is singing something and changes the lyrics to "wacking off in a walmart parking lot" as he glances my way... ok, you youngster. i have to let the blood cool before i want to continue scrolling. "just wait til you grow up, Sam" -- i call him Sam. and your parents stop paying for the car you drove up in. in an alternate universe, i get out of the car and start punching up the 4 youngsters. the evening news interviews one of them "there was this crazy older dude who was sitting in his car that started yelling insults to us." newscaster flips her hair and pushes the microphone further into his face: "What was he saying" young guy: "something about 'deflation', and 'AI's going to take your job' newscaster:"did anyone get hurt?" young guy:"no, he kinda head butted and then wrestle-hugged me" newscaster:"did you just say wrestle-hug?" --- jail would be a very deflation-forward lifestyle i muse as the scroll continues. --- but the arc of justice is long and swings with a vengeance, so let's see Sam 10 years later... Sam stared out the kitchen window on a Saturday at 10am. he had a good life, a great wife. She was the reason he was standing in front of the window washing dishes at 10am. Spring was in the air and Susie was just taking in some sunshine in a bikini on the back deck. she's hidden from the neighbors by the wood bars holding up the railing. THe kitchen window slides up, Sam's voice: "honey you missed a spot" "what, honey" Susie rolls over to upward cobra to see what Sam's going on about. ---this doesn't sound like punishment. let me try this again--- 13 years later--- Sam rolls into the bathroom at 2am. Dim light. toddler woke him up. he's hovering into position to land on the toilet seat, when a brown stain slides into view. he aborts landing and does a fly around, turning on the light switch. poop stains across the front of the toilet seat. it's like the earth orbit stopped and the toddler slid forward off the seat while pooping. "how does this happen", Sam's sleep deprived brain hurled into the universe. universe paging system crackles "do you remember that guy you made fun of 10 years ago in the walmart parking lot... " "that's how. " ---- seriously though, how do parents do it. one kid uses the restroom and i'm checking for poop smeared across any surface. and no wonder parents are sick all the time.
