The goal has always been for humans to have complete and total ownership of the software they use so they can: 1. Use it for any purpose they desire 2. Study it and modify it to produce a different result 3. Redistribute copies of it and help their peers (p2p) 4. Improve it and deploy public enhancements so everyone can benefit To me, it seems that technologies like #Bitcoin and #Nostr are the next "epoch" of technologies that fully embody these core beliefs. They hold the true meaning of "freedomware" and these principles are baked in from the very beginning. We are just getting started. Really excited for the future of this space.
