Imagine the Trump administration forcing the EU to peg โฌ to $ on 1:1 basis and effectively dismantling ECB and taking control over the old continent money if EU doesnโt i.e. contribute min. 5% of their GDP on defence budget.
The US then inflates the $ to reduce their national debt at the cost of Europe.
Would that be doable? Or am I missing something?
