4 reasons why the most talented devs often are unable to work efficiently in teams: 1️⃣ their ego doesn’t allow them to trust the team 2️⃣ they are not compassionate enough to work with someone who is not afraid to ask sometimes basic questions 3️⃣ they think they “know best” 4️⃣ they can write code but cannot communicate effectively- delegate, explain, give and ask for feedback. My job is to fix this. #ScrumMaster #AgileCoach

Every day you wake up, think what you can do to make the world a better place, go for a walk, have a coffee and stack some sats. Every day you go to sleep exercise gratitude. Works for me 😇

Spend and replace doesn’t exist. You either understand Bitcoin and you move all your wealth into it or you don’t. When you move all your wealth into Bitcoin you just need to use as little of it as possible to survive, pay your bills and save as many SATs as you can.

@BTC Sessions shares his thoughts on how living on the Bitcoin standard changes your mindset, incentivises to save and to buy less and choose quality products. As always a delight to listen to 👌

I really love everything about our new family wagon. The only thing I still question is whether it was the right moment to buy it and how long will it take me to to stack this 0.25 BTC we spent on it! #OnlyToyota image

In 2013, James Howell's partner inadvertently threw out a hard drive along with other trash. Unknown to this person, this hard drive contained approximately 8,000 bitcoins. For the past decade Howell has been petitioning the town council of Newport to excavate the landfill in the hope of recovering the drive which would now hold approximately $647 million worth of cryptocurrency. Now he is suing the council in an attempt to force them to let him excavate. Should the hard drive be recovered, Howells thinks there is an 80 percent chance that the coins on it would be retrievable. If it all works out, he has offered the council 10% of the recovered Bitcoin: $65 million worth. But, citing environmental concerns, the council has rejected his proposal to dig through over a decade's worth of garbage. The council issued a report wherein a spokesperson said, "The council has told Mr. Howells multiple times that excavation is not possible under our environmental permit and that work of that nature would have a huge negative environmental impact on the surrounding area. The council is the only body authorized to carry out operations on the site."

I managed to orange pill my landlady and just paid my rent in 🌽 She wanted to be able to easily convert to fiat so I recommended @strike. How do I prompt her to learn how to self custody though? 🤷

Today marks the start of the 3rd @Sovereign Engineering cohort on the beautiful #Madeira. Having attended the inaugural dinner yesterday I feel humbled being so close to all the talented creative people who came to join the cohort. Among many others, I met @Gigi & @PABLOF7z in person for the first time -and spoiler alert - they don’t levitate illuminated by the bright auras of their wisdom. Instead they are just the kindest dudes passionate about building FOSS, open to conversation with anyone around them, curious and excited about what’s going to happen over the next couple of weeks. Boy I wish I had a chance to pitch @BitcoinWalk to them and to hand it over to @Sovereign Engineering so they could break it down and build properly some cool stuff around this simple Bitcoin grassroots movement that I started almost 3 years ago in Edinburgh and which spread to over 30 cities around the world since. There are plenty ways to improve and push the BitcoinWalk forward. The idea is super simple yet very powerful - every SATurday (#everySAT) you go for a walk together with other bitcoiners and people who want to learn more about it and you discuss Bitcoin in nature. It’s a perfect setup to onboard normies around the world. Is this the right project for Sovereign Engineering? This I don’t know. #TouchGrass #ProofOfWalk
