I used some scrap gutter material from one of my recent jobs to create a custom mineral feeder for my mobile sheep shelter that I pull along each time I move them. I’ve heard varying opinions on the importance of minerals when it comes to raising sheep. I tend to believe most shepherds and books by shepherds when they talk about the importance of minerals. Selenium seems to be especially important here in the northeast as it is lacking in our soils. Minerals seem to be important for human health as well and I would bet what the animals eat end up in the meat. Laying out the new raspberry patch on contour last night at the farm. I used an A frame plumb bob (forgot to get a picture of that) to find the precise contours and then smoothed it to a line of best fit and then laid out parallel rows at the proper spacing.
