For God has said, “This is rest; give it to the weary.” And to those who believe Him and walk by faith, His words are rest, life, and truth. But for those who believe it is merely rule after rule, endless words that no man can comprehend or follow, so it is to them. And when they try to follow the letter of the law without faith in God, they inevitably fall and are bound in sin to be taken by the enemy. But to those who believe God and walk by faith, “though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds his hand”; for them, the word of the Lord will be as refreshing waters to the soul.
