Alien in the Veil Nebula Astrophotographer Daisy Dobrijevic captured gas structures that look remarkably like the xenomorph from the movie Alien while photographing the Veil Nebula. The Veil Nebula is a supernova remnant located about 2,400 light years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. It is made up of thin jets of hot gas that create bizarre shapes.

NASA found a near-perfect rectangular cut iceberg floating off of the Larsen C ice shelf in 2018.

The body of a man who had been missing for 28 years was found after the melting of the Lady Meadows glacier in Pakistan. His remains were discovered on July 31st by shepherds and were buried yesterday by his family. The man disappeared in 1997 in Kohistan, one of the branches of the Himalayan mountains, near the border with Afghanistan. He was married and the father of two children at the time of his disappearance.
