Daily Gratitude: Indoor, electric washer & dryer. I can put my clothes in a machine and it washes them while I’m doing other things. Same thing for the Dryer. Hand washing and drying clothes would take much time and energy away from other creative human pursuits. It is incredible how blessed we are to have machines like this.
Lord, make me charitable, always, to my fellow man for what I do to the least of them, I do to you.

Daily Gratitude: clean drinking water. I can get it out of every tap in my home without a thought about whether it’s potable. It’s readily available 24/7/365 for a small monthly charge. Unbelievable how much this adds to human productivity and health.

Daily Gratitude: Electricians. Our homes are wired for 120-240V with multiple circuits at varying Wattages. It’s amazing that there aren’t more electrocutions and electrical fires. Thank God that trade is highly professionalized to raise the safety standards as high as they are allowing for nearly worry-free electricity in our homes.
