Went to the fair today. Had all of the carbs and all of the sugar. Even bought a bottle of muscadine grape juice. Back to the grindstone once I finish the grape juice.

You run into the strangest people hitchhiking. There I was on the other side of town. Coming out of the eye doctor with dilated eyes and a Subaru pulls up to see if I want a ride. It was my sister and aunt so I said yes. Bought her lunch and got a ride home instead of taking an uber. I guess everyone come out ahead. Even if my nephew was not happy when some guy got in the back with him in a parking lot.

Looks like about 1/5 of the 5 mill and change people in the great state of South Cacklalacky are without electricity at present. More than that now that I think about it. That’s just outages. Most outages are probably more than one person.
