Chopped cur tropical milkweed back to 10” above the ground and brought the flowers in to capture seed.
This is right before the wind knocked my bike down, the Thermos rolled away, and the chain came off. Messy, cold, grease hands ensued!

The Piggly Wiggly was lit for 3 hours tonight with 40 local vendors offering samples of their goods to 1,500 attendees. Here is a pic, pre-fete, chaos-free. I did Honey Crisp apples with our honey, and also oyster crackers with our honey. You have not lived until you have stabbed hundreds of honey-covered apple segments with hundreds of frilly toothpicks.
