YouTube is probably the one "social" media that I would say I am addicted to, but it seems they are making efforts for people to detox easily. The hysteria has become so bad that even serious scientific channels have to chime in. All serious information seems to get washed out by AI-rated thumbnails and titles, to a point where it is just sickening. At least for me. Meanwhile, I am re-discovering my offline media collection. Albums i haven't listen to for decades, and actually watching these DVDs i spent 100s of hours ripping. Feels good man. But also feels like wooden Bender yelling at metal. I want a better, lasting solution.

The linux phone just decided to show Amethyst notifications. Wat. It never did. There was no update. Wat.

At this point, I *hope* we live in a simulation and the operator just decided to get wasted and fiddle with some knobs. You know, just like when you unleash Godzilla in your SimCity. Not sure how long a universal hangover lasts, but I hope op will get coffee soon.
