More field notes 📝 I love the ai-based personality analyzers as a consumer because I think the roasts are the funniest thing I’ve ever read… But, as I’ve read and re read various ones it’s very obvious that the roasts all have the same disgust at the root of them- all of the roasts suggest, “if you expression of emotion, you’re weird” And that’s exactly how an ai should be operating

Okay, really level headed conversation for 2 seconds… I’ve spent roughly the past 2 years “shaping back” my algo on various social media platforms, prior to shaping them I came up with an intended facet of my personality (hi. Behavioral specialist irl here) that I believed would drive specific outcomes, (on Instagram, it’s influencer… on fb, it was “realtor style”) all while I attempted to avoid pulling in other real life participants (bc I believe research consent is sacred)… easier said than done. The goal? To just observe how my algorithms attempted to redesign me back. Side note- there is something truly sinister going on there, but more on that later Now, I have been having AI analyze my personality across platforms (such a cool tool) and it appears that while it’s able to interpret the conscious personality I intended to portray… it has still yet to gather that there might be a greater 2nd order objective behind that. Just some #fieldnotes for the future
