It’s very disheartening when you present a problem to someone (like this week’s most egregious overstep of the surveillance state, or the brokenness of the monetary system) and they just look at you. They did not know this info before you told them, but somehow there is still no reaction. They just simply don’t care. There is no spark, no fight. The system did its job on them perfectly. This is how we lose.
What happens to a society when the technocrats and politicians own the data that allows them to understand you better than you understand you? Do you think they will use it to improve and enrich YOUR life?
