There is an assumption, based on the poor policing of crime in the UK that they are bumbling fools, however you will find they are surprisingly competent at detecting and prosecuting the "crimes" and "criminals" that they consider to be their enemies. You have no idea what beliefs will be criminalised tomorrow, next month or next year. Stay safe.
