A free market economy is just a distributed method for determining the most broadly positive way to leverage finite natural resources to benefit our species. While necessarily imperfect, because nature itself is imperfect, the free market is by far the most effective way to optimize towards that end. Extremely capable robots and AI do not change that relationship. There is no such thing as a post scarcity reality.
