Labour’s Barbara Edmonds to National: Why are you afraid of a capital gains tax? Everyone should be afraid of a capital gains tax because it is nothing but theft. Every example of why it is necessary is logically unsound and simply a smoke screen for communists to steal from anyone with anything. There is no such thing as “Capital Gains”. A better name for it would be an EPR “exercising property rights” tax. When ever you choose to move your savings or capital from one endeavour to another you will have to pay the communists for the privilege.
