HOW TO CONSUME ENERGY FROM THE SUN Fresh fruits and vegetables are actually still living when you harvest them and even when you purchase them from the store. They will stay this way until you digest them, until they decompose, or until they are cooked. Sunlight is absorbed by these organisms. While most of the energy is used to create fuel for the plant to grow and thrive, some of this light energy is stored in the DNA of the organism. These light particles are called biophotons, and they can be observed via Kirlian photography. This why fresh fruits and vegetables in their raw state are one of the most potent sources of natural energy available to us.

If you see a bee of any description on the floor or not flying other than on a flowering plant, it is STARVING! You can help. You can help by mixing two parts sugar to one part water and offering the syrup to the bee. She (and they are mostly ladies) will happily drink from a teaspoon. You'll see her little black tongue as she drinks. It will take about 10 minutes for her to convert the syrup to energy, but she will fly away if you've helped her in time. The feeling you get on seeing her recovery and flight is well worth your time. PLEASE NOTE - This is a temporary measure and 'First Aid' only. The Bees need diversity in their diet and need to pollinate plants in their search for food. I'm not suggesting we feed sugar to Bees as a regular thing. NO HONEY PLEASE - Disease can be spread easily from colony to colony through this practice and you will do more damage than good. White sugar and water only please. They can't thank you, so I will on their behalf. image

Honeybee deaths have hit record highs in the US, with the unprecedented loss of colonies pushing many beekeepers close to ruin as scientists scramble to identify the main cause of the huge declines. Commercial beekeepers have reported losing more than 60% of their colonies, on average, over the winter, according to an ongoing Project Apis survey that covers more than two-thirds of America's managed bees. The loss of bees, both captive and wild, in the US is already starting to limit the supply of some food crops and is reducing the yield of honey. There are likely many factors causing the decline. What can you do? We'll if you are up to it try beekeeping. It is an awesome hobby and l'll help you. Also, plant bee friendly plants. Some that are particularly alluring to bees include: Lavender, Sunflowers, Clover, Wildflowers, Borage, Rosemary, Coneflowers, Monarda (bee balm), Blueberries, Black-eyed Susans. Let your lawn grow with clover a couple months out of the summer. And DO NOT use nasty chemical pesticides harmful to bees. There are safer alternatives. Do your part. PROTECTING BEES BENEFITS US ALL. image

Do you think that I count the days? There is only one day left, always starting over: it is given to us at dawn and taken away from us at dusk. Jean-Paul Sartre image
