What if we: - Eliminate all federal taxes - Pay $1000/month to every citizen - Mint trillion dollar coins to fund it all By accelerating the death of fiat currency, this would end the war machine, dissolve the corrupt federal government, and help balance the wealth gap in the process

It’s ok to be a hardcore fundamentalist bitcoin maxi who calls everything else a shitcoin. It’s a safe path to take that ensures you and your community avoid getting rekt. And it ensures you make it through this chaotic noisy monetary renaissance securely. It’s very similar to living a strictly principled and sheltered life without drugs, alcohol, dangerous adventures, controversial people, parties, etc. You’ll be safe, healthy, and probably happy. But you might feel a little bored and crave something more. Extending beyond vanilla bitcoin into things like ordinals, collectibles, or even other blockchains is risky behavior. Many have ventured there with good intentions but got in too deep and lost their principles along the way. Some others are pure scammers. And the scammery and degeneracy certainly increases the further you stray from vanilla bitcoin. In the same way there are many people with unhealthy relationships to parties, dangerous adventures, drugs/alcohol, etc. But there are also people who can partake in risky behavior in a healthy way, opening their minds to new experiences, developing deep friendships, building communities, and having fun times. Finding that balance is all part of this human experience. I respect the maxis who choose to keep it simple, even if the message is abrasive. They will keep you safe - though you might miss out on some fun. Or not, everyone has a different life. I personally started getting a bit bored with vanilla bitcoin. “I like Bitcoin, buy my lightning channels” just wasn’t cutting it for me. I’ve also had a keen interest in digital art ever since i could code, and enjoyed pokemon cards growing up. I also wish I had minted some free crypto punks back in 2017. I like ordinals, they’re fun. There are also some positive-sum opportunities for profit. And I hope we can enjoy the party in a healthy manner by keeping the focus on art, collectibles, and communities rather than false promises and wash-traded faux-unregistered securities. If you look closely at the remnants of the recent NFT bust on altcoin chains, you’ll find the full range of pure scammery to pure artistic expression. I hope we can remove the former and preserve the latter as these people start migrating to bitcoin. So anon, do you want to join the party? That’s something for only you to decide. There’s no wrong answer, and I respect your decision. Ribbit 🐸 image

Trying to accelerate bitcoin adoption is like trying to get the sun to set faster There are greater forces at play that will continue to work on their own timelines Bitcoin will continue to grow naturally with each successive failure of western government money, no sooner or later In the meantime we can prepare by building tools and knowledge, but the greater forces will control the ultimate timing of our hyperbitcoinized destiny Find peace and joy in the present, as tomorrow is never guaranteed and money is a disappointing idol anyway image

Refocusing on the Deezy lightning node today. Activating the rebalancer - let's get these lightning payments more reliable. Ordinals have been a fun detour but I do feel that lightning infrastructure is still the future of our business. Just need more of you mfers actually using lightning lol

Are there any protections around the "Most Zapped" metric to prevent people from zapping their own posts to boost metrics?

the legend Super Testnet has produced the first valiant attack on ordinal inscriptions by inscribing a 0-value transaction, causing joy from hater maxis, and panic from JPG grifters like me but the situation is not as bad as it sounds, here's my understanding: he created an inscription on a 0-value input, 0-value output transaction 🤣 which he claims has broken ordinal theory. however i believe this is incorrect and the key is the difference between "ordinal theory" and "inscription numbers" "ordinal theory" is the made-up system of tracking individual satoshis throughout their history, but nothing was actually broken here satoshis are still numbered from their creation and correctly tracked to their current locations what *was* broken is "inscription numbers" - this is just an arbitrary way of tracking what order inscriptions occurred note the difference between ordinals and inscriptions ordinals is a tracking system inscriptions are the actual jpg files: monkey penises, @astral_babes, etc "inscription numbers" are just a vanity metric putting an order to which inscriptions came first. some collectors like having the 100,000th inscription, for example or whatever these are all messed up now, because super_testnet's transaction exposed some logic in the software personally, i think this is totally fine. in fact, i think inscription numbers were broken already early on anyway so in summary: - if hoping to inscribe the 4-millionth inscription, you're gonna have a hard time getting that right because the tracking is broken - the ownership of your existing and new ordinals are all totally fine, monkey pensis are safu - "rare" sat tracking unaffected if you want to cause more chaos, you can use super_testnet's exploiter tool and wreak more havoc turns out the 0-value inscription for the attack was actually awarded to the miner of that block and the inscription says "you will use soma and you will like it" soma is a proposed concept for a "spacechain" which can be a future maxi-approved way to do collectibles without bloating the blockchain as much that's all for now, will post updates and please correct me if anything is wrong. and make sure to follow me if you want to get scammed with my next grift!

anyone who believes i’m a scammer for creating the astral babes, i challenge you to answer any of these questions: where is the deception? who was misled? who is the victim?
