One thing a friend told me this morning about entrepreneurship: the first 2–3 years are foundational, and they often look like 12–14 hour days, long stretches of work, and choosing not to quit when it would be easier to. Her biggest advice? DO NOT GIVE UP. Too many people stop before the seeds they planted have time to reach harvest 🌱

This morning in yoga, one thing that stood out to me in the balance poses was how we set our sights on something stationary to help steady ourselves. It’s such a simple instruction, but it feels very applicable beyond yoga too. When we’re going through a time where it feels like we’re balancing a lot — which is almost always true in life — focusing on something steady, something that isn’t changing or moving, can help us find steadiness too. Also this morning, I got to help a yoga teacher accept Bitcoin for the first time. I’ve taken her classes for almost two years now, and after class I told her I was going to ask a question she probably had never gotten before: that I’d love to support her teaching by donating in Bitcoin. Using @Manna , it took less than two minutes total. She downloaded the app, and I sent her Bitcoin. Getting to be part of the moment someone receives Bitcoin for the first time never gets old. ⚡️ 💦 🫰 image

At a night market last night, we stopped at a coconut stand and ended up having one of those unexpectedly great conversations. After buying a couple coconuts, we started talking with the stand runners — both seniors in high school — about their POS setup. They said they recommend a different one that that they aren’t using over their current set up because the fees seem lower. Then we asked if they knew much about Bitcoin. Their reaction was immediate excitement: “Wait… how do people actually do that? Do people really pay that way?” Honestly, it was refreshing to see that kind of genuine curiosity — no cynicism, just interest and openness. Very cool experience. Hope we run into them again… and next time pay in Bitcoin. ⚡🥥

Hi Sydney @Sydney Bright - thank you for this cohesive read about a topic that deserves more attention than it gets. For some reason, I don’t see either photo that you mentioned - the EMF ranges by NASA or the mitochondria. Have you read Dr. Beckers work? From the 1960s - 1980s, Robert O Becker was studying nnEMFs as well. He used the term “bio electricity” and his lab was eventually defunded when he spoke out against Project Sanguine / Seafarer on 60 minutes. YouTube video linked below. Both of his books are great reads - The Body Electric (1985) & Cross Currents (1990). Given our shared interest in consciousness, I think you might find value in his work if you haven’t read it already. He discusses a study in The Body Electric that correlated the location of overhead power lines to suicide rates in the UK in 1979. Link here https://www.researchgate.net/publication/22598791_Relation_between_suicide_and_electromagnetic_field_of_overhead_power_lines @Dr. Alexis Cowan is carrying the torch for Becker and his research on nnEMFs. I highly recommend her work, book clubs, lessons, etc.
