Went to Göbekli Tepe recently, the oldest temple discovered so far; it was built about 12000 years ago, you could probably find many videos online of it, but nothing beats seeing it in person - it's literally in the middle of nowhere, seeing everywhere yet without being seen from afar, super smart! ( there are still other areas waiting to be excavated ) And one of the interesting things I have learned is that ppl used to use it to gather together to exchange goods, even marriage 👀 not just being a temple; I was getting lost a bit in history last week, too much to learn...

Maybe it's not about going or searching for the places that are more popular with Bitcoin if you are willing to do the work yourself. So far, I've paid Airbnb hosts/rent, devs who I work with, some of the restaurants I go to all the time, VPN, Mail, Domain, and basically most of my web setup switched to paid in sats. *You don't need the whole world to accept Bitcoin*; Seriously, all you need is the people around you; And be selective, only pill the good ones, don't waste your energy.

Things you own end up owning you. Here's a fun hack for simplifying your life: categorizing your belongings into essentials ( the things that are really needed ) and the optional ( the things that bring you more comfort, but you can live your life without them. ) My solution to keep my life simple is to see what is really needed first and do my best to get the best of them, not fiat marketing brand best but inside best, then slowly do the same for the optional; Now, I don't really need to buy any new things, but trying to integrate my ideas into making what I need better.

Your home culture is an invisible cage, which could potentially limit your growth. Sharing one funny story, I had my first ear piercing when I was about 18 years old, and my dad was so mad at me. Then I often see cute little girls are already wearing earrings in Turkey maybe like 5 years old ...Many things don't make sense in a place, yet it could be perfectly normal somewhere else. *Don't let your home culture limit you or tell you what to do*; I think one of the best things you can do is see it from far away, explore around, and then choose what works for you instead of doing what everyone is doing there. And one thing I noticed is that many people still love to hang out with people coming from the same place and barely leave their own bubbles, even within nomads, expats, or people who moved abroad a long time ago but would still be married to people coming from the same place, I guess mostly due to convenience and it's easier? Nothing is wrong with that but it's quite interesting. 🤔

The Art of Problem Solving - Write down what you want to make it *happen* - Break it down into small steps for execution - Go through all the options in your head or write them down to see how each option would lead to what you want closer, then choose the ones make the most sense - Keep testing and improving For simple problems, just do from 3-4; and what's your problem-solving hack? 🤓

Trust needs to be earned, value needs to be proved.

Drew down and crafted a bit of my bank setup yesterday, and now the flow is about *earning - caching & spending - saving*. I used to work in finance, and the mindset during that time was *earning - spending & investing* ( investment is also a form of spending) because you know that if you don't do anything, your money will lose value, so people either need to figure this out themselves or pay someone else to do that on top of earning money, now with all the inflation and bank account frozen, it must be HARD to actually sit down and THINK when you are constantly worrying; And it seems people always want more and more in the fiat world like it's NEVER enough, but your time in this world is limited - why waste it to chase unlimited money that others can print out of thin air? But with Bitcoin, all you need to do is well keep the seeds, not only can you sleep like a baby ( no one can take Bitcoin away from you ) , but also you can focus all your time and energy on learning and creating, and doing something actually meaningful with your precious time.

You find tools to solve your problems and make life easier, not bringing more headaches - If you find yourself being drained all the time and energy into the tool itself, maybe it's good to think that this might not be the right tool for you.

whenever you are feeling low energy, then think as long as you are healthy and have time, then all the problems are solvable, just be patient.

Tulip festival in istanbul - Tip: April is the best time to come. and fun fact: Tulip is native to Anatolia ( actually, the nomad Turks brought it from Asia ), then brought into Europe during the Ottoman time. But I guess many people would first think of the Netherlands when it comes to Tulip, maybe due to more commercialization or marketing there...but Turks' love for Tulips is uncomparable, you can easily see it in all kinds of arts and crafts, and do you know the meaning of tulip? 🤓🌷

The past few years for me, not sure if it is because of Bitcoin or a mix of everything, it's like a journey of going back to what's real; so we were born and being taught how to blend into modern society: go to school then get a job, work till 65yr then you can retire...But did you ever question of why do you need to deal with people you don't like so to earn money or why someone else did nothing yet getting a big cut out of your work? You slowly realize the matrix, and the good news is seeing the problem is the first step to solving it! Then, you start to figure out how to exit ( Bitcoin is a powerful tool ) and learn how to stay away from "modern products": from the food you eat, tools that you use, or even the values that are fed to you, much verifying yet rewarding at the same time. And once you take good care of the shelter, food, and all the necessities, then you have all the time to work on something you love ( find your ikigai ) and spend time with people you like instead of keep waiting for retirement or holidays.

am I the only one find it strange that why clothes these days are trying to show others everywhere, but showing too much is cheap not sexy… agree? now I'm tempting to pick up some sewing skills so to make whatever I want. 🪡

Went to see some rock tombs, and I thought to myself, how did people even manage to build that? Not only it's HUGE, but it's built on steep mountains, and they carved the tomb out of the rocks... And the more I see, the more I think people in the past mastered way better skills than the modern ones, yes you built airplanes, the internet, and many cool techs, but the knowledge of how to live in harmony with nature or how to make the most of natural material is going downhill.

Imagine everything you own is crafted by yourself - why not focus one or a few years on solving ONE problem? Second year into making my own clothes! Not only I'm unsatisfied with chemical dyes, as I've shared before, but I also want to control the fabric from the start now, so here I am - don't underestimate what is possible, even in a foreign land! I traced down some remaining masters to see how they weave fabric the traditional way; I want to see what's possible and understand how certain structures are being weaved because I have some ideas in my mind, and I want to see if it is doable... The weaver is the one truly has freedom to decide whatever she likes, yet most people think once they are "rich" enough, they can buy whatever they like, while in fact they only get to buy from what's available in the market, which is limited freedom; And to make things even worst, people are rat race buying what whatever brands to show their social status, yet being fed mostly massive produced junks? And I am not sure how many of you dig into these so-called fashion industries, I was a bit shocked seeing how the layers of layers middlemen work, and then again, the weavers/makers earn the least while doing most of the work.
